Become a Co-op member to donate 1% of your shop to Safeline

It’s now even easier to donate to Safeline!

Co-op members can select Safeline as their chosen charity to receive 1% of what they spend on certain Co-op branded products and services. 5% of what you spend also goes back to you in the form of money off your next shop and special offers only available to members so it’s well worth getting involved!

Safeline exists to prevent sexual abuse and rape and to support those who are affected, including survivors (males and females of all ages) and their families. The abuse may be in the past, recent or current. Our prevention projects with schools also work to protect young people teaching them how to stay safe and learn valuable life skills safe-guarding them from issues such as online grooming, bullying, cyber-bullying, physical and emotional abuse and many more issues affecting young people today. Donations are valuable to enable us to continue providing this life-changing support and to help us reach more victims.

Setting up your nominated local cause couldn’t be easier. If you’re already a member you can just sign in. On your dashboard you will see a box titled “Support your local community”, click the button “See causes” then just select Safeline as your chosen charity. It’s as simple as that. You can then monitor exactly how much money has been raised for Safeline via your dashboard.

Registering to become a member is very straightforward. Simply follow this link to the Co-op Membership webpage and register your details. You will be asked to buy a £1 share in Co-op via credit or debit card. Once you have done this you will be redirected to your dashboard through which you can follow the steps detailed above and also order your new Co-op card free of charge.

Your donations will help support survivors to rebuild their lives and keep young people safe from abuse.

Thank you for your support and we will be sure to keep you updated as to how we get on and the amount we raise through this amazing scheme!
