We are very grateful to our Corporate Supporters who share our values and who work with us to increase awareness and help us to ensure that Safeline’s services remain free, tailored and non-time limited.

It is estimated that 1 in 4 women, 1 in 6 men and 1 in 10 children have been the victims of sexual violence in the UK.

It is believed that only 1 in 8 children who have been sexually assaulted are ever identified.

Safeline’s objectives are that everyone affected by sexual violence should be supported; and that we should work together to prevent its occurrence through Prevention & Early Intervention programmes.

“I was so ashamed. I didn’t have the words or the confidence in myself. I thought that I would be in trouble and that I would hurt my family. I was just a little girl”. Adult Survivor of Childhood Sexual Violence

Ways to Get Involved

Corporate donations

Corporate donations are an excellent way to:

  • Motivate, develop, and support your employees.
  • Increase public awareness of your brand.
  • Contribute to increased sales and customer loyalty.
  • Fulfil Corporate Social Responsibility priorities by demonstrating commitment to your community, customers and important stakeholders through philanthropy and positive brand alignment.

Donations can be donated to different areas of Safeline’s work i.e.

  • Support for children and young people
  • Support for our Online Services such as the Warwickshire Survivor Helpline, National Male Survivor Helpline & Online Service, or the National Online & Telephone Counselling service for adults
  • Creative Therapies
  • Counselling or Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Support Service

“Over the years we have built a strong relationship with the charity and their amazing team, and Warwick Castle is very proud to support the invaluable work Safeline does, as they continue to provide support for sexual abuse victims. We were delighted to host their 25th Anniversary drinks reception at the castle back in 2019 and remain keen to help in other ways when we can. We look forward to the continued success of Safeline, as they help and support so many in the local and wider community.”

Corporate Fundraising

Corporate Fundraising can be as simple as placing a donation box for Safeline at your retail outlet or at your reception desk.  Some organisations have supported Safeline by:

  • Sponsoring a staff member to take on a challenge on behalf of Safeline such as the London Marathon.
  • Holding a Quiz Night
  • Dress Down Days
  • Raffles
  • Cake Sales
  • Wine Tastings
  • Fun Runs or competitions such as a staff football/netball tournament

Contact Us if you would like to talk to us about your staff fundraising and how we can support you with Safeline branded balloons, donation boxes etc.

Gifts In Kind

In addition to fundraising, Safeline is always in need of other support in the form of expertise, donated items, technology, raffle/tombola prizes etc.

Safeline is very grateful to the organisations that reach out to support us.  Every year, we hold a fundraising tombola, and the local supermarkets are incredibly supportive.  Not only do they encourage their customers to donate to our appeals, but they also give items directly to Safeline for our raffles, prizes, and Tombolas. Some examples include:

  • March 2021 Chocolate Hamper Raffle prize. Contents donated by Tescos Warwick and Coventry Crosspoint and Morrisons Leamington Spa.
  • Melissa Hazell Community Champion for Tesco Warwick and Coventry Crosspoint store with the winning ticket for the hamper.

If your company can donate equipment or time in support of Safeline, we’d love to hear from you.

Cause Related Marketing

Cause-related marketing is a mutually beneficial way for our corporate partners to help us with our work.

A commercial partnership such as cause-related marketing will place your product in front of new audiences and tangibly demonstrate your commitment to your corporate social responsibility goals.

Nature’s First Aid have committed to donate £1 for every order they receive over £30 and then they also developed a special Safeline product. It is called “Nature’s Safeline Kit” of which 10% will go straight to the charity. The kits are made up of oils that promote hope, positivity, and safety.

In 2020, Nature’s First Aid, contacted Safeline to ask if they could support our work.
