Recruitment: Bank Counsellor for Warwickshire and Coventry

Safeline is looking to recruit a qualified bank counsellor to join our busy growing counselling team working face to face (or online/telephone when necessary) with adults, young people and children in the Warwickshire or Coventry area who are experiencing the after-effects of sexual abuse, rape and sexual violence.

The successful candidate will hold an appropriate counselling qualification, in addition we welcome candidates with online/telephone counselling qualification and/or experience. Successful applicants will be required to attend our Open College Network accredited training programme ‘Working with Survivors of Sexual Abuse’ in November.

Candidates will work to high ethical and professional standards that align with BACP best practice guidelines. They will maintain the standards and reputation of the charity and deliver the outcomes outlined by our funders.

Remuneration: £30 per session on a self-employed basis plus £30 per month contribution to Clinical Supervision. Invitations to our free CPD events throughout the year.

Attendance: Approximately 8 to 12 counselling sessions per week, times flexible and mutually agreed
